Event Background｜活動背景

Percussion is a universal language that transcends borders and cultures. As a leading promoter of youth percussion development in the Asia-Pacific, APPF is proud to launch the Hong Kong-Suzhou Twin-City Percussion Cultural Exchange Tour — a four-day, three-night professional journey created under the invitation of Sounds Makers, and part of the official programme of the Hong Kong Percussion Arts Festival.

This tour brings together young percussion talents from Hong Kong and Suzhou, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and artistic growth for the next generation of artists. It culminates in a special public performance at the iconic Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, offering participants a prestigious platform to showcase their craft.

This programme is more than a study tour: it is a key initiative of APPF’s Asia-Pacific Youth Artist Development Programme, designed to nurture young performers with global vision and professional excellence.

敲擊樂是跨越語言與地域的世界語言。作為亞太區青年敲擊藝術發展的推動者，亞太敲擊樂總會（APPF）隆重呈獻蘇港雙城擊樂文化交流考察團。本次活動由Sounds Makers邀請，並隸屬於香港敲擊樂藝術節的官方項目。

交流團以四日三夜的專業藝術之旅，連結香港與蘇州年輕擊樂精英，打造跨地域、高水準的青年藝術交流平台。行程尾聲，團隊將於地標級場館蘇州文化藝術中心舉辦專場公演，為參加者提供珍貴的專業舞台演出機會。

本交流團不單是學習之旅，更是 APPF 亞太青年藝術家培育計劃的重要項目，以國際視野與專業培育，助力青年藝術家邁向世界舞台。

Programme Highlights｜行程亮點

Masterclasses by Suzhou Symphony Orchestra percussionists Receive professional coaching from orchestral musicians and elevate technical and stage performance skills.

Joint Rehearsal & Public Concert at Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre Perform alongside Hong Kong and Suzhou cultural ambassadors at the iconic Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, gain valuable stage experience, and receive an official certificate.

Cultural Immersion in Suzhou Experience classical Chinese heritage and broaden artistic perspectives through cultural visits.

All-rounded Support Round-trip ground transportation, quality accommodation, meals, insurance, and full logistical support.

蘇州交響樂團演奏員大師班，接受職業樂師親授指導，全面提升技巧與舞台表現。

港蘇大使聯合排練+蘇州文化藝術中心專場公演，兩地青年將於地標場館蘇州文化藝術中心同台公演，累積專業演出經驗，獲頒官方證書。

蘇州文化深度體驗，感受江南人文底蘊，拓闊藝術視野與創作思維。
